
BUFFALO, N.Y. —A man is recovering after being shot in a suspected targeted attack on Bailey Avenue in Buffalo Wednesday morning, according to police reports.
Buffalo Police say officers responded to the scene shortly before noon after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered a man who had sustained gunshot wounds to both the head and leg. Despite the serious nature of the incident, authorities confirmed that the victim’s injuries are non-life-threatening. He was promptly transported to Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) for treatment.
Preliminary investigations suggest the shooting was not random. Authorities believe the suspect and the victim were acquainted, pointing to a personal dispute as a potential motive. However, the suspect has not yet been identified or apprehended.
