Fall River, Massachusetts — The community of Atlantis Charter School is in mourning after the devastating loss of one of its own. Bentley Souza, a beloved student, tragically passed away on June 24, 2025, following a dirt bike accident that occurred near the school campus in Fall River.
According to school officials, the accident happened in the immediate vicinity of the school. Bentley was involved in a serious crash that prompted an urgent emergency response. He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, but despite the tireless efforts of medical personnel, Bentley succumbed to his injuries, leaving his family, friends, and school staff heartbroken.
In a statement issued by Executive Director Robert Beatty, the school expressed its profound sorrow, emphasizing that Bentley was a vibrant part of the school community whose spirit and energy touched many lives.
