
Southwest Atlanta, Georgia — With deep sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence Perrino, who tragically lost his life in a multi-vehicle car crash on Interstate 20 in southwest Atlanta during the morning commute on June 25, 2025. He was just 35 years old.
According to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office, Lawrence succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident, which involved multiple vehicles and prompted a swift response from emergency personnel. Despite their best efforts, Lawrence was pronounced deceased at the scene, leaving behind loved ones, friends, and a grieving community.
The collision led to a prolonged closure of a section of I-20 as authorities worked to clear the scene and piece together what led to the tragic event. As of now, the exact circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
Lawrence was known as a kind-hearted and hardworking individual with a generous spirit and a deep love for those around him. He carried himself with quiet strength, warmth, and humility that made a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. His loss is being deeply felt by family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors who are now left with the painful task of saying goodbye to someone who meant so much.
