Lakeland, Florida – With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Elvia Cristales, who left this world far too soon at the age of 28. On June 24, 2025, surrounded by love, Elvia passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, warmth, and quiet strength that will never be forgotten.
Elvia was a beacon of compassion and light in the lives of all who knew her. Her presence was comforting, her smile contagious, and her heart always open. She had a unique ability to make people feel seen, heard, and valued — whether it was through a simple conversation, a handwritten note, or her thoughtful, unwavering support.
In her short time here, Elvia built a life full of love, laughter, and meaning. She created memories that will be held close by her family and friends — moments filled with joy, honesty, and the kind of gentle encouragement that lifted those around her. She loved deeply and lived generously, giving her time, her heart, and her talents to everyone fortunate enough to be part of her world.
Though she is no longer with us in body, Elvia’s spirit will forever resonate in the stories we share, in the kindness we show others, and in the lives she touched so deeply. Her absence is immeasurable, but so is the love she leaves behind.
To honor her life and memory, a visitation will be held on June 28, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Cannon Funeral Home, where family, friends, and loved ones are invited to gather, grieve, and celebrate the beautiful soul that was Elvia Cristales.
She may be gone from our sight, but she will never be gone from our hearts.
