In Loving Memory of Tenita Crisler: Beloved Delta Sigma Theta Soror, Devoted Family Woman, and Faithful Friend
Yesterday, I logged onto Facebook and was shocked and heartbroken to learn of the passing of Tenita Crisler. In disbelief, I immediately called my mom and reached out to other sorority sisters, hoping it wasn’t true.
I’ve known Tenita for more than 20 years, and in all that time, she remained a consistent light—always kind, always supportive, and deeply devoted to her family. She had a genuine love for the Lord, her alma mater Miles College, and our sisterhood in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
It feels incredibly unfair that she’s gone so soon. But I take comfort in knowing that Heaven welcomed a truly beautiful soul this week.
Here we are at a Tea in Montevallo last year—one of the many cherished memories I’ll hold close.
Rest in Heaven, my dear Soror. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten. 💔🔺🕊️
