
MIAMI TOWNSHIP, OH — A quiet early morning turned tragic in Clermont County when a single-vehicle motorcycle crash resulted in the death of 44-year-old Christopher McGrath a Milford man. The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. Saturday on State Route 28 near Business 28 in Miami Township.
According to a statement from the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Batavia Post, 44-year-old Christopher McGrath was traveling southwest on a 1998 Honda Superhawk 996 when he lost control navigating a curve. The motorcycle overturned, throwing McGrath to the roadway.
McGrath, the sole rider, was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Despite his safety gear, he sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Emergency crews from the Miami Township Police and Fire Departments, as well as the Milford Police Department, responded promptly and provided assistance.
The crash remains under active investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
