
Police in Erith are urgently searching for two suspects following a violent double-stabbing that took place in broad daylight on Sunday, July 6. The incident, which has left a 47-year-old woman and an 18-year-old girl hospitalized, has shocked the local community and prompted a swift response from the Metropolitan Police.
Emergency services were called to The Nursery in Erith at approximately 3:00 p.m. after receiving reports of a serious altercation involving knives. Upon arrival, officers discovered two female victims suffering from knife injuries.
Both were immediately treated by paramedics from the London Ambulance Service at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital. Their current conditions have not yet been confirmed.
The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that two suspects are being sought in connection with the stabbing. As of now, no arrests have been made, but investigators are actively conducting urgent enquiries to identify and locate those responsible.

Police are seeking two suspects in connection with the incident. No arrests have been made, and we are making urgent enquiries to locate the perpetrators.”
The area around The Nursery has been cordoned off as police work to gather evidence. Officers have been seen conducting door-to-door inquiries and reviewing any available CCTV footage from surrounding businesses and homes.
Local residents expressed concern and disbelief over the violent attack. One neighbor, who wished to remain anonymous, said, “It’s terrifying. You don’t expect something like this to happen in your neighborhood in the middle of the day. I hope the victims pull through and the police catch whoever did this.”
