According to the Pensacola Police Department, the woman was riding a moped along Lakeview Avenue near E Street around 11:30 p.m. when she was struck by a car under circumstances that remain under investigation.
Police reported that the woman became pinned beneath the vehicle after the impact. Emergency crews responded quickly to the scene and worked urgently to free her. Despite their efforts, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead a short time later.
