BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 63-year-old man has died after falling from a window of a building in Lockport on Sunday afternoon, according to local police.
Authorities say the incident occurred around 12:15 p.m. at a building located on Main Street, where the man fell from the eighth floor. Emergency responders were called to the scene, but the man was pronounced deceased.
Police have not released the victim’s identity at this time. His body was transported to the Erie County Medical Examiner’s Office, where an autopsy will be conducted to determine the official cause and manner of death.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fall is ongoing. Officials have not indicated whether foul play is suspected, and no additional details have been released as authorities continue their review.
