The community of Reform is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 78-year-old Edith M. Gault, who tragically lost her life in a single-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Pickens County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the accident occurred around 12:45 p.m. when Gault’s 2001 Chevrolet Silverado veered off Ollie Bonner Road, struck an embankment, and overturned. The crash happened roughly five miles north of Reform. Despite the quick response from emergency personnel, Gault was pronounced dead at the scene.
