With profound sorrow, we announce the sudden passing of Karen Vibert, a dear member of the Unionville, Connecticut community, who died unexpectedly on July 30, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on February 11, 1962, Karen’s vibrant spirit and compassionate presence enriched the lives of all who knew her.
Karen is survived by her loving husband, Marty Vibert, and their two children: Andrew Vibert (and partner Lorrane Otoni Dias of Revere, MA) and Milli Vibert of Unionville. She also leaves behind her devoted parents, William J. III and Judith L. Bronson III (née Tassinari), as well as her sisters Susan Fergusson (with Brian) and Catherine Robayo (of Torrington).
She was also cherished by extended family members—including her uncle Robin Tassinari (Anne, Spencertown, NY), aunt Nancy Baron (Farmington)—and her beloved pets Tom and Mona, who brought joy to her daily life.
Karen’s sudden passing leaves a void in Unionville and the greater Farmington Valley community. Known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support for family and friends, she was a quiet pillar who believed in celebrating life’s simple joys and moments of connection.
