The San Antonio Police Department is currently investigating the heartbreaking shooting of 32-year-old Kianna Cachae Mayberry, who was fatally shot late Sunday night while sitting in her car outside her home on the city’s Northwest Side.

According to authorities, the incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. near Hickory Springs and Babcock Road. A white sedan had reportedly been parked a few houses down from Mayberry’s residence. As she stepped outside and got into her car, three individuals approached and opened fire, then quickly fled the scene.
Mayberry was struck multiple times, including in the neck and head, and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she later died from her injuries.
As of now, no arrests have been made, and detectives are continuing to investigate. Police are working to identify the suspects and determine a possible motive.
