It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic passing of Simone Rose, 45, of Maloney, who lost her life in a hit-and-run accident early this morning, According to police, the incident took place around 6:30 a.m. near the intersection of the Churchill-Roosevelt Highway and O’Meara Road.
Simone had just exited a taxi and was standing along the eastbound lane when she was struck by a vehicle. The driver failed to stop and fled the scene. Authorities are actively investigating and searching for the suspect, who was reportedly driving a white vehicle.
