With heavy hearts, the Columbus community mourns the tragic loss of William Javon Tatum, who was senselessly killed on Friday night, October 10, 2025, in a shooting on Stone Park Drive. William, only 40 years old, was known by family and friends as a kind, dependable, and hardworking man who always put others before himself. His sudden passing has left an unimaginable void in the lives of all who knew and loved him.
William’s warmth and gentle nature touched many people — from his family who cherished his love and laughter to the friends who admired his strength and loyalty. He had a gift for making everyone feel valued and welcomed, and his presence brought comfort to those around him.
