It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of Michael Daly, a father, son, and accomplished software developer, who lost his life along with his father in a plane crash on Sunday, October 12, 2025, north of Fort Worth, Texas. The Beechcraft C90 King Air, owned by Daly’s healthcare software company, Mobile EHR, Inc., went down in a vacant truck lot near the 12700 block of North Saginaw Boulevard, causing a massive fire. Emergency crews responded quickly, but tragically, both occupants were pronounced deceased at the scene.
Michael Daly was more than his professional achievements. He began programming as a teenager in 1992 and went on to build a successful career, founding Mobile EHR, Inc. and developing advanced healthcare software for iPad and iPhone. Those who knew him describe him as brilliant, driven, and deeply devoted to his family. Michael’s warmth, integrity, and generosity left an indelible mark on colleagues, friends, and the community.
He is survived by his wife and four children, who now carry the memory of his love and guidance. While his life was tragically cut short, Michael’s legacy of innovation, dedication, and kindness will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to know him.
