MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Sunday, October 12, 2025, near Vel R. Phillips Avenue and Clarke Street.
According to officials, officers were called to the scene around 4 p.m. and discovered a 33-year-old man, identified as Leshon Christen, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts, Christen was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation. At this time, no suspects have been arrested, and authorities are continuing to search for the person responsible.
