SOMERVILLE, Texas — The Somerville community is heartbroken following the tragic death of 49-year-old William Bailey, who lost his life in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in Burleson County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened around 5 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 107 and Texas Highway 36. Investigators said Bailey’s vehicle swerved off the road, struck a sign, and then hit a wooden pole, ejecting him from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
