It is with heavy hearts that the Manchester community mourns the loss of Shannon S. Bryant, 35, who tragically passed away on the evening of Wednesday, October 22, 2025, following a fatal collision on U.S. Highway 421 North in Clay County, Kentucky.
According to the Kentucky State Police, Shannon was walking along the northbound lane near Young Drive when he was struck by two passing vehicles. Despite the immediate response from emergency personnel, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at AdventHealth Manchester at approximately 9:35 p.m. by the Clay County Coroner.
Shannon’s sudden passing has left his family, friends, and the Manchester community heartbroken. He is remembered as a kind-hearted and humble soul who brought warmth and laughter to those around him. Friends say Shannon had a giving spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His easy smile and gentle nature made him beloved by many who had the privilege of knowing him.
