The community is reeling after a tragic murder-suicide on Thursday afternoon that claimed the life of 26-year-old Taylor Longshaw, a beloved daughter, friend, and salon professional whose vibrant presence touched countless lives. Round Rock Police have since identified the shooter as 27-year-old Selena Eubank of Carrollton, who later died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
A Deadly Encounter Outside TwoRooted Salon
The devastating incident unfolded around 5:30 p.m. outside TwoRooted Salon, located at 403 West Main Street, where Taylor worked. Responding officers found her suffering from multiple gunshot wounds just steps from the workplace where she was known for her talent, warmth, and joyful spirit. Despite immediate efforts to save her life, Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene.
Eubank, who fled before police arrived, was located shortly afterward near the 500 block of West Liberty Avenue. She was found deceased from what investigators say was a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police have confirmed that early findings point to a domestic violence-related incident, though the full circumstances remain under investigation.
