A man is fighting for his life after an early-morning shooting in South Minneapolis’ Ventura Village neighborhood. The incident happened around 5:30 a.m. on the 18xx block of 5th Ave S.
According to initial reports, a 35-year-old male was shot in the chest. Emergency responders rushed to the scene and provided aid before transporting the victim for urgent medical care. His current condition has not yet been released.
Due to system encryption, no suspect information has been made available at this time. Minneapolis Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
