Elijah Wells Obituary, Death; – Ohio’s chief law enforcement officer will provide an update on the fatal shooting that occurred at an Airbnb in Bath Township on Friday morning, accompanied by other police officials.
The press conference, featuring Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost and Bath Township Police Chief Vito Sinopoli, is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.

Seven individuals sustained gunshot wounds, and two others were injured during the birthday celebration on November 2. Authorities have yet to report any arrests.
An 18-year-old Akron resident, identified as Elijah Wells, succumbed to his injuries on November 6.
Bath Township police indicated that officers responded to numerous 911 calls regarding a shooting at the Airbnb rental located in the 900 block of Top of the Hill Road around midnight.
Investigators believe that a large group of teenagers arrived at the residence following a social media announcement promoting the birthday event.
Shortly thereafter, officers reported that an unidentified shooter or shooters discharged multiple rounds within the residence, injuring several individuals before fleeing the scene.
