Denver Police are investigating a Thanksgiving Eve shooting that left three people wounded late Wednesday night in the heart of downtown Denver’s nightlife district.
The incident happened around 10:39 PM in the 1100 block of North Broadway, an area packed with crowds and surrounded by some of Denver’s most popular nightclubs, including Temple, The Hive, and The Church.
Officers responded after reports of multiple shots fired in the busy entertainment corridor. Upon arrival, authorities confirmed that three victims had been shot. Their conditions have not yet been released, and police have not disclosed details about what led to the shooting.
The area was quickly flooded with emergency responders as investigators canvassed the scene, interviewed witnesses, and searched for surveillance footage. Nightlife-goers described chaos as people ran for cover while police secured the block.
