The shooting appeared to be isolated and did not involve an active shooter. The injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening, according to the San Jose Police Department.
Members of the public who left their cars overnight at the mall during the evacuation are allowed to retrieve them at the earliest convenience, the mall said in a social media post Saturday morning.
For those who may have left their belongings in the mall, there will be a collection site at the mall’s Leasing Suite which is located on the third floor. It will open at noon.
