Virginia Beach, Va. — Family members are urgently seeking the public’s help in locating Taylor Conard, a new mother who disappeared from the Virginia Beach area earlier this morning and may be experiencing a severe postpartum mental health crisis.
According to her fiancé, Michael Olberg, Taylor left home at approximately 11:00 a.m. on Monday under concerning circumstances.
Olberg shared a public plea stating that he and the family are “very scared for her safety,” noting that Taylor gave birth just one month ago and may be struggling with postpartum depression or postpartum psychosis.
Taylor reportedly left behind all of her personal belongings, including a note, though the contents of the note have not been publicly disclosed.
Olberg also stated that Taylor’s vehicle was repossessed the night before, which he believes may have significantly contributed to her emotional distress.
At the time she went missing, Taylor may have been wearing a blue winter jacket along with jeans, leggings, or sweatpants. No further details regarding her direction of travel or possible destination are currently available.
Olberg is pleading with the public to help locate her as quickly as possible.
“If anyone has seen my fiancée, please reach out to me,” he wrote. “We are very scared for her safety. She just had a baby a month ago, and we are worried about the worst.”
Anyone who sees Taylor Conard or has information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact Michael Olberg immediately at 757-218-4451, or call local law enforcement.
This is a developing situation, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
