Michael McGlone, a student at the University of Pittsburgh, tragically passed away by suicide on December 10, 2025. Born in Chester, PA, Michael was the devoted son of Jennifer Meredith (nee Lange) and Joseph M. McGlone, III.
Known for his warmth, friendliness, and approachable nature, Michael touched the lives of countless friends and family members. Those close to him remember his lighthearted spirit, his loyalty, and his passion for his studies and community.
Michael’s family invites friends and loved ones to pay their respects at a viewing on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382. This will be followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:30 PM at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct, West Chester, PA 19382, which will also be livestreamed. Interment will remain private.
To honor Michael’s memory, the McGlone family has requested that attendees wear jeans and flannels, a tribute to his personality and the casual, joyful way he approached life.
