Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a 55-year-old man Saturday night along Ewing Road.
According to Kentucky State Police Post 8, troopers were contacted by Fleming County Dispatch at approximately 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, to assist with a serious collision in the 3600 block of Ewing Road.
Preliminary findings indicate that Sean A. Parker, 55, of Germantown, Kentucky, was operating a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck when the vehicle dropped off the shoulder of the roadway. Authorities said Parker lost control of the truck, left the roadway, and struck a culvert, causing the vehicle to overturn multiple times. Parker was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
Despite emergency response efforts, Parker was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Fleming County Coroner.
Multiple agencies responded to assist at the scene, including the Flemingsburg Police Department, Fleming County Sheriff’s Department, Fleming County EMS, Ewing Fire Department, and the Fleming County Coroner’s Office.
The crash remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Trooper Marvin Morris.
