The Bethlehem community is grieving after two people died from gunshot wounds Friday night in what authorities are investigating as an apparent murder-suicide, according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.
Emergency responders were called around 10:45 p.m. to a home in the 200 block of 10th Avenue. Inside, officials found 39-year-old Sarah Rice deceased. A 42-year-old man identified by family members as Gregory “Greg” was also found with gunshot wounds. He was transported to St. Luke’s University Hospital in Fountain Hill, where he was pronounced dead at 11:39 p.m., Coroner Daniel Buglio said. Autopsies for both individuals are scheduled to be completed on Monday.
