Adams City senior Phoebe Gutierrez has been named the 2025–2026 Colorado High School Girls Wrestler of the Week for Week 4, an honor presented by InsideCoWrestling in partnership with longtime sponsor Cliff Keen Athletic.
Gutierrez earned the weekly distinction after an outstanding performance that showcased both dominance and consistency at a high level of competition. Competing at 115 pounds, she finished the week undefeated with a perfect 6–0 record and captured first place at the Conflict at Cleveland tournament in Cleveland, New Mexico.
On her path to the championship, Gutierrez recorded impressive victories over top-ranked opponents, including wins against the No. 2 and No. 1 wrestlers in Colorado 4A, as well as the No. 2-ranked wrestler in New Mexico. She capped off her dominant run by pinning every opponent she faced, underscoring her elite skill and preparation.
Each week, nominees for the Colorado High School Girls Wrestler of the Week award are evaluated by committee members based on match results, overall record, and the level of competition faced. For Week 4, five standout athletes were considered across multiple weight classes, making the final selection especially competitive.
InsideCoWrestling and Cliff Keen Athletic recognized Gutierrez’s achievement with the weekly honor, along with a custom Cliff Keen gear bag, awarded to each Wrestler of the Week.
