It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic passing of Andrew J. Harris, 25, of Mobile, Alabama, who lost his life in a devastating crash on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in St. Clair County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Andrew was a passenger in a box truck traveling along St. Clair County 27 near Howard Drive, about six miles south of Pell City, when the vehicle left the roadway, overturned, and struck a tree. Sadly, Andrew, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene from his injuries. The driver of the truck, who was also unrestrained, was transported to UAB Hospital with injuries.
Andrew’s sudden loss has left his family, friends, and community heartbroken. He is remembered as a kind, hardworking young man with a bright smile and a generous spirit that touched everyone who knew him. His life, though cut tragically short, will forever be cherished by those who loved him.
As his loved ones mourn this unimaginable loss, they ask for thoughts and prayers for comfort and healing. Andrew’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
