Charles “Chuck” Cyr, 50, passed away suddenly on September 12, 2025, following a drowning accident after a fishing trip with friends.

Cyr was a longtime civil service employee with the Department of Defense, serving more than 20 years in the San Antonio, Texas, area. He was also a proud graduate of Alamogordo High School, as were his older brothers, Keith and Brian (BJ).
He is survived by his three children, Brenna, Braydon, and Zach, who, along with his family, friends, and colleagues, will remember him for his dedication, kindness, and quick smile.
