Tony Arenas, born in 1984 and diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at six months old, has passed away, leaving behind a legacy of resilience, advocacy, and unwavering community impact. Despite living with a challenging condition, Tony defied expectations and dedicated his life to raising awareness and supporting countless families affected by cystic fibrosis.
From an early age, Tony played a central role in his family’s signature fundraising events, including the Tent Event at Steakhouse 100, which evolved over the years into the Palmer’s Steakhouse Tent Event in Hartland. He worked closely with his parents, sister Lisa, and extended family, later joined by his wife Melissa, daughters Lana and Eva, and Lisa’s husband Joe, creating a true family-driven mission.
Tony’s passion extended to sports philanthropy, most notably through the Milwaukee Bucks Golf Tournament, which ran for 24 years and raised essential funds for the cystic fibrosis community. As a speaker at events such as the Breath of Life Gala, Milwaukee Wine Opener, and numerous golf tournaments, Tony shared his personal journey with grace and optimism, inspiring attendees and advocates alike.
