Dillon Novogrodzky Obituary News
Novogrodzky was part of a family legacy deeply woven into the fabric of fine jewelry design and manufacturing. His grandfather, Julio Novogrodzky, immigrated from Argentina to New York City’s famed Diamond District on 47th Street, where he worked as a bench jeweler and manufacturer. Julio left his mark on the industry as the creator of the iconic Tiffany Hook & Eye Bracelet and contributed to numerous other timeless Tiffany & Co. designs.
Building upon that foundation, Dillon’s father, Victor Novogrodzky, established Novell Design Studio in 1986 in New York City. The company quickly grew into one of the largest engagement ring and wedding band manufacturers in the United States, known for its exceptional craftsmanship and innovation.
From the age of nine, Dillon immersed himself in the family business, working in his father’s factory in New Jersey. He gained firsthand knowledge of every stage of jewelry production — from stamping and polishing to casting, engraving, and plating.
Determined to further refine his craft, Dillon pursued studies at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in Manhattan, earning his Graduate Diamonds certification (GD) in diamond grading and jewelry design. This education, combined with his passion and family heritage, inspired him to launch Novo Diamonds, where he sought to bring fresh innovation while honoring the timeless traditions of jewelry artistry.
Those who knew Dillon remember him as deeply passionate about his craft, devoted to his family’s legacy, and committed to elevating the jewelry industry with creativity and precision.
Details regarding funeral or memorial services have not yet been announced.
Dillon Novogrodzky’s legacy continues through the artistry of Novo Diamonds and the generations of craftsmanship that preceded him. He will be remembered with admiration and love by family, friends, colleagues, and all who cherished his dedication to beauty and design.
