KILLEEN, Texas – Authorities in Killeen are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred early Tuesday morning, leading to the temporary closure of a major roadway.
The crash was reported around 7:30 a.m. along Highway 195 near Splawn Ranch, prompting emergency crews to respond quickly to the scene. Due to the severity of the accident, southbound lanes of Highway 195 from Stage Coach Road/Highway 201 to Chaparral Road were shut down for several hours as law enforcement conducted their investigation and cleared the area.
