According to officials, the incident occurred around 2:00-2:30 p.m. near address 649 Route 206.Authorities described the situation as an “active police scene.” In response, township schools were placed in lockdown and local residents were urged to shelter in place, lock their doors, and remain alert.
Initial reports suggest that shots may have been fired and multiple people were possibly hit, though details about victims and the suspect remain limited.A 19-year-old local man has since been taken into custody and charged with attempted murder in connection to the incident.
