It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Philip Joseph Immel, beloved father, mentor, and friend, who left us peacefully on November 12, 2025, at the age of 70. Phil’s life was one of inspiration, achievement, and boundless generosity, and his absence leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew him.
Phil’s journey began in Chicago, Illinois, where he faced life’s early challenges with courage and determination. From those formative years, he carried an unwavering belief in himself, a belief that propelled him to remarkable heights both personally and professionally. A proud alumnus of John Hersey High School, Creighton University, and San Diego State University, Phil valued education and personal growth, setting an example of dedication and perseverance for his children and the countless individuals he guided throughout his life.
Phil was a visionary in real estate, serving with distinction as Vice President at Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corporation before founding The Immel Team at Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty. As CEO, he exemplified integrity, leadership, and commitment to excellence, building a team and a community that thrived under his guidance. His professional accomplishments were matched only by the warmth, humor, and care he brought into every interaction. Phil had a rare ability to light up a room, making everyone around him feel seen, heard, and valued.
To his family, Phil was everything: a loving father to Torie, Ryan, and Blake, a steadfast partner, and a mentor whose wisdom and laughter shaped the lives of those he held dear. His energy was contagious, his kindness unwavering, and his spirit indomitable. Friends and colleagues alike admired him not only for his accomplishments but for the genuine humanity he shared so effortlessly.
Phil’s legacy extends far beyond his professional achievements. He was a pillar of his community, a beacon of joy and encouragement, and a man who inspired others to believe in themselves, persevere, and embrace life fully. Though our hearts ache at his passing, we take solace in the countless memories he leaves behind, in the lessons he imparted, and in the love that continues to surround his family.
