With broken hearts, the Enosburgh and Sheldon communities mourn the tragic passing of 18-year-old Aryanna Fleming, who lost her life in a fatal motor vehicle crash on Friday evening, October 10, 2025, along Vermont Route 105 near Kane Road in Sheldon.
Aryanna was a bright, spirited young woman whose warmth, laughter, and kindness touched everyone who knew her. She had a passion for life and an adventurous heart, always striving to make the most of every moment. Those who loved her describe her as compassionate, strong-willed, and full of dreams for the future — dreams that were heartbreakingly cut short far too soon.
According to the Vermont State Police, the crash occurred around 6:27 p.m. when Aryanna’s 2010 Honda Crosstour collided with a Toyota Tundra driven by 36-year-old Andrea Dillner of Fletcher. Despite the swift response of first responders, Aryanna was pronounced deceased at the scene. Dillner sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
As family, friends, and the community grieve this devastating loss, they remember Aryanna for the joy and light she brought into their lives. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Gone too soon, but never forgotten.
