A juvenile was injured during a shooting Saturday evening in Essex, according to Baltimore County Police.
Officials said the incident happened around 4:45 p.m. on Dec. 6 in the 1700 block of Eastern Boulevard. Officers arrived to find a juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Authorities have not released information about the extent of the injuries.
When FOX45 News crews reached the location, a vehicle was seen being towed away from the scene. Police have not explained who the vehicle belongs to or why it was removed.
Detectives are currently working to determine what led to the shooting and whether any suspects are involved. Police have not released additional details but are asking anyone with information to contact investigators.
