The Midfield community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 21-year-old Ja’Cariun Quavonte Amison, who tragically lost his life in an accidental shooting on Wednesday night, October 15. The incident occurred around 10:45 p.m., and Ja’Cariun was pronounced dead at 11:03 p.m. at the scene.
Ja’Cariun was known for his bright smile, caring heart, and the way he could bring laughter to those around him. Family and friends remember him as a genuine soul with big dreams and a love for life that touched everyone he met. His presence brought light into every room, and his absence leaves a void that can never be filled.
Authorities reported that the tragedy happened when another person in the home was handling a firearm, which accidentally discharged. While the investigation remains ongoing, the focus of many has shifted to remembering the young man whose life ended far too soon.
Ja’Cariun’s family, friends, and loved ones are holding tight to cherished memories and asking for prayers and privacy during this painful time. His spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
