JACKSON COUNTY, MS — A tragic hit-and-run collision on Wednesday evening, June 25, 2025, has left 62-year-old Michael Urbani of Vancleave dead and authorities searching for two vehicles involved in the fatal incident. The crash occurred around 8:48 p.m. on Interstate 10 westbound, between mile markers 68 and 69.
According to preliminary findings, 62-year-old Michael Urbani of Vancleave was riding his motorcycle when he was struck from behind by a black Chevrolet Malibu. The impact caused Urbani to crash onto the roadway.
