Police in Machakos are investigating a fatal shooting that claimed the life of a nightclub bouncer following a dispute on Christmas night.
According to eyewitness accounts, the incident began inside the club after the bouncer became involved in an argument with a man who had arrived with a woman. The disagreement reportedly escalated, leading the bouncer to eject the woman from the premises.
Witnesses say the confrontation continued outside the nightclub, where the man allegedly drew a firearm and shot the bouncer three times. The victim died from his injuries at the scene.
Police confirmed that the suspected shooter later surrendered himself at Machakos Police Station, accompanied by the woman involved in the dispute. Both individuals are currently in police custody as detectives continue investigations into the circumstances surrounding the killing.
Authorities have not released the identity of the deceased or the suspect, and have indicated that further details will be provided as the investigation progresses.
