River Valley High School was placed on lockdown Thursday morning following reports of a threat on campus, according to local authorities.
The Yuba City Fire Department said crews were dispatched to the school at approximately 10 a.m. for a reported medical emergency. Upon arrival, responding units were instructed to remain outside the campus due to a potential threat that was received shortly after their dispatch.
